Patrick Mugabi

Patrick Mugabi holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Laboratory Technology from Makerere University, where he cultivated expertise in laboratory techniques, scientific research methodologies, and applied biomedical technologies. His academic training equipped him with a robust foundation for evidence-informed practice and problem-solving in healthcare and research settings.

After graduating, Patrick transitioned into education, where he applied his scientific background to enhance curriculum development, teach, and mentor students. He fostered a dynamic learning environment that emphasized scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and innovation, helping bridge the gap between theory and real-world application.

 

Research Associate – ACRES 

Driven by a passion for research and knowledge translation, Patrick joined ACRES as a Research Associate. In this role, he:

  • Conducts impactful research and data analysis to generate actionable insights.
  • Translates complex scientific findings into accessible knowledge for policymakers, practitioners, and communities.
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure research outcomes inform decision-making and program development.
