Patrick Mugabi graduated from Makerere University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Laboratory Technology. During his time at Makerere, Patrick developed a strong foundation in laboratory techniques, scientific research methodologies, and the application of biomedical technologies in real-world scenarios.

After completing his studies, Patrick began his career in the education sector. His passion for research and knowledge brokerage led him to join ACRES as a Research Associate.
