Under the DG – Tools project, we developed the Living EIDM ToolMap, a digital repository of software tools designed to support Evidence-Informed Decision-Making (EIDM).
The Living EIDM ToolMap is an open-access, web-based platform that provides a comprehensive collection of digital tools to facilitate the EIDM process. This tool aims to enhance access to existing digital tools, reduce the time spent locating and searching for appropriate tools, and encourage researchers and software developers to add new relevant tools as they become available.
How is the ToolMap organized?
The ToolMap is organized to reflect the EIDM process, from identifying needs for evidence to dissemination of synthesis products. The platform categorizes digital tools according to their primary purpose and features, allowing users to easily search and filter tools based on their specific needs.
The Living EIDM ToolMap is designed to keep pace with the rapid development of new digital tools for evidence synthesis. Users can easily add new tools as they become available, and our team will run regular searches to ensure the platform remains up-to-date.
