National Immunization Policy implementation considerations
The Ministry of Health is in the process of finalizing a national immunization policy. The policy’s successful implementation will be measured partly on how far its activities reach the target population - the coverage, which has been low in Uganda. With a comprehensive and wholesome draft policy in place, this paper presents factors that policy makers will need to consider for implementation.
