Pastan Lusiba is an Epidemiologist with training in basic sciences. Over time, he has transitioned from basic sciences to becoming an advocate for Evidence-Informed Decision Making. This was after realizing that much of the evidence generated from research is not used in decision and policy processes.
Mr Lusiba has made it a career goal to work towards seeing decisions and policies across the globe informed by the best available evidence. He has keen interest in methodologies that contribute to the Evidence Informed Decision-Making field and implementation of evidence informed interventions. He also has profound interest in digital health research with an end goal of improving efficiency of health care delivery in developing countries.
