Caroline Nakalema is a biostatistician and a knowledge translation practitioner at the Centre for Rapid Evidence Synthesis (ACRES). She holds a Masters in Biostatistics from
Makerere University and a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics degree from
Kyambogo University. 

She boasts of years of skills and experience in statistical methods and analysis. Nakalema has leveraged her expertise to synthesize research evidence for policymaking to address societal challenges in fields such as public health, economics, and social sciences.

Her work involves taking research evidence into policy and practice through the Rapid Response Service. She has supported several decision-makers at the national and sub-national levels in making evidence-informed decisions. She believes in strengthening systems and policies by delivering research evidence that is of good quality and in a timely manner. Nakalema aims at widening the scope of evidence users through creating more collaborations and networks.
